Tony, I'd highly recommend you go see "Jersey Boys" on Broadway. I was never that big of a Four Seasons fan, but hearing their music performed live was more fun than I ever would have imagined. The storyline of the group also much more interesting than I realized.

Pony and The Pickups - Familiar Stranger, if you can get past the vocals which takes a few listens to appreciate this is a terrific album with some great musicianship throughout . love the title track, Trail of Tears, Cocaine and B*t:@hes, Carolina Girl and the irresistable 6Gun Sadie. To me he sounds like a bit of a cross between Tom Pacheco, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Robert Earl Keen.

Van Muller - Find Yourself Here, very promising debut from this female artist, definitely a Carly simon influence among others.

Well, I recorded some of Madcap Violet's songs on the sly, and burned them a live CD for their anniversary. Good stuff.
