Discuss the band.

Diederik, where do I begin to tell you how touching your post was for my family and me. Tyler's mom was especially moved. Thank you so much. As much as this is a site created by Rusty for us nuts to discuss related Poco topics and associated music, you can see that it has become much more. It is a community, a family of sorts and your post as well as the posts of so many others to this topic and to endless other topics proves the point. I continue to be amazed how a group of people who for the most part have never met and probably never will, can be counted on to provide support and kindness when many of us need it. Again, I thank you so much.
Ty, went in the hospital this past monday but his counts were to low to get his scheduled 2 days of chemo. He will be going back this afternoon to try again. Hopefully he can get things back on schedule.
Roger, good to hear that you and Eileen had a nice visit with the grandkids. I know what it's like having to get back for the dog. Our's is over 18 years old. She is deaf, has limited site and is dealing with some arthritis but for the most part still enjoys her self and the visits from the kids. She sleeps a lot more these days but needs to go out do do her business every few hours so we don't go very far these days. The end is near, I'm afraid. She's has had a good long life.
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.

Continued prayers and positive outlooks for the little guy. Hope his latest round of chemo goes well for him Kev. Our little knucklehead just started crawling last week, backwards instead of forward at first until he shifted into the right gear, now he's all over the place. All the best to you and yours, Mike

Thanks for the bump Diederik. Ty and his parents have been going back and forth for the past week to the hospital trying to get his blood counts up via transfusions and platelets. I get so confused with White Blood Cells, Platelets, Hemoglobin and that stuff. All I know is the chemo screws all this stuff up and he needs to get it straightened out between rounds. He went in today, will be back again tomorrow and if it's all straightened out by Thursday he will stay for a 5 day round of chemo. I tell you this 7 year old is bigger man then me. God bless him. Continued positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Consider them on the way for sure.Hoping they get the answer they are hoping for so treatment can continue. Sometimes the young lead us by their example. Dennis

You and your family are in my thoughts. Wish I could do more.
