Hi Kev, catching up with your posts about Tyler, that's really great news about current results! What a brave little man you've got there. I see your all gearing up for another series of chemo and radiation starting the 13th,glad he's had a little bit of a break before starting up again.Best to you and yours and Ty's always in my prayers, Mike.

Thanks Mike. This has been a welcome week off from treatment. A lot of swimming, some wall climbing, soccer practice and stuff a kid his age should be doing in the summer. But its back to reality on Monday as he goes in for a 5 day hospital stay for daily chemo and radiation. I'm praying that he doesnt react to badly to the addition of the radiation treatments. He's seems to be ready mentally.
Thanks for your prayers.

Kev

I just got this info in an e-mail from Kev- nice that Tyler gets to enjoy some nice things but it's a bummer that he has to go through the rest to get them.

Dennis

Tyler got a visit from the Navy Blue Angles at the hospital yesterday as they are in town for the big air and water show.
Tonight he and his sister are going with their patents to see Jason Aldean and Luke Bryant. An outfit similar to the Make a Wish foundation got them for him as well as a meeting before the show. His favorite singer is Luke Bryant so he's pretty jacked.

Cheers, Kev

Thanks for the bump Rog and thank you for your continued prayers and thoughts.
Dennis, yes it is unfortunate that Tyler has to deal with with all he has been handed especially at such a young age. Lately he has been growing up too fast. He's such a brave little boy. I couldn't be prouder.
I could go on for pages telling you all, about the generousity, kindness and thoughtfullness that has been shown to Ty and his family. From sports personalities, neighbors, friends, teachers, business owners and of course our own Mary Young, Rusty and the boys. It has been truly amazing and something that I will forever be grateful for.
Ty continues daily trips to the hospital (30 miles each way) for his radiation treatments along with his chemo. Making things even more complicated for his parents is that school resumes tomorrow. So time management becomes even more crutial. Somehow they will get it all coordinated and will do so without a complaint.
Thank you all for praying for them and thinking good thoughts. It means so much. And it is working!

Oh yea, Ty pointed out to me that the singer he likes spells his name Luke Bryan not Luke Bryant.....sorry Ty (and Luke)! I'd like to see him spell Ray LaMontagne!!!!!

Once again, thinking of all of you...really should make us all grateful for simple things!

It's Fri. Night and we just handed Gavin back over to his mom and dad after spending Thurs. with us. He's 1yrs.old as of this past Sat. and we had a great party at our place to boot. Gavin loves the Disney channel so it was a Mickey Mouse theme and even Mickey himself showed up to the delight of all the youngsters running around the yard. The young man who played Mickey was a real nice kid, he facepainted all the children then went inside and changed into character, they were thrilled and the whole day just went great. I couldn't help thinking of your grandson Ty and mentioned to my Bette that he would have enjoyed himself if he were here too, so just letting you know Tyler's always in our prayers, good luck in the next couple of weeks ahead and all the best to you and yours, Mike.
