My other favorite singing drummer.

Real sad about Levon

Sad to lose him. Love his music still ... it's a great legacy he leaves us.

Yes it's sad but he had the right attitude about it. He lived his life to the fullest as long as he could and kept making great music as long as he could do it.

71 may not be long enough but he made the most of those 71 years.

How sad, rest in peace Levon. "It's to soon, far to soon, but who are we to say." "The one who gives us everything, it's His to take away."

One of the most underrated drums in rock, Levon's loss is a huge loss for anyone who appreciated his contribution to some of the finest music ever laid down.

From a distance, he sure seemed to be enjoying himself these last few years. His spirit was so strong, inspirational.

So sad to hear this, never was the biggest band fan, but loved most of levon's more recent solo stuff.
Well the music pours out on the street

Country Rock, it's timeless
it's song will never ever age
Country Rock, it's in my bones
and they'll be singing along in my grave

I have been suprised at the amount of media coverage (even CBS Evening News) on Levon's death. As late as yesterday there was a 1/4 page with photo in the Tennessean about the memorial service which was a week after his death.

The article stated he was buried next to Rick Danko's grave in Woodstock. What a fitting resting place for the two of them.
