Saint Louis Poco fan party Sept. 14

My wife and I are having a fiesta for Poco fans the Friday of Sept. 14, the evening before the free concert at 746 Aubert Ave. Saint Louis MO at 6 p.m. Note: to the nice young woman behind me at Mile 277 who I injured: please come -- I owe you big time. I hope your knee is okay. I tripped over silverware that was left on the ground and was not drunk. The place was crazy crowded. We will all have more space by the lake at Saint Peters.

I was hoping you'd respond but it's a bummer you're not coming up. I am stoked about the free concert. Are you and your husband (?) both Poco fans. I can't get my wife into Poco which is weird because she loves the Eagles and likes Pure Prairie League. However she does like throwing parties and generally has good taste in music even though she's a little self limiting. Where are you from? Mile 277 was my first Poco concert. I was impressed how well Jack sang Paul Cotton songs and about how many instruments Michael Webb played well. Rusty and George were also great though no surprises other than I wish Rusty would play banjo for at least one song.

September 14 is my birthday. I'll have to see if I can finagle trip to St. Louis for the fiesta and show for my present. It would be great to see some of the 'nuts.

Massachusetts is a long way. If you need a place to stay you can crash at my house. Hmmm...my cousins are in Boston and I have close friends in New Hampshire. My friend Ethan likes Poco. Maybe I could get him to come.
