Great track by Paul. How many like the acoustical version on Poco 7, or the electric version on Poco Live? When Live came out it seemed like Poco had to play a couple of favorites more electric than the studio versions. Ride the Country is great no matter how it is played, and High and Dry done electric was not bad. Weigh in as you like.

I especially like the version of Angel on Poco Seven. But I also am a big fan of acoustic and dobro guitar pairings, so there you go.
I think High and Dry would be a GREAT addition to the current set list. The staffing is right for this one: Rusty and Jack on lead and harmony vocals, respectively (even at an octave lower to allow for vocal comfort, it still sounds good), Rusty on guitar and Michael playing Rusty's original pedal steel-that-sounds-like-an-organ part on the B3. Could be a great way to take up the tempo at some point in the performance.
And GeorgeL gets a drum solo...

I like both versions... Live or Seven usually finds it`s way in the CD player if I have a late Saturday night past 8:30.

Never really liked Angel; but always loved High and Dry. It was especially great live,

I am partial to the live version of Angel. I love the pairing of High and Dry, Angel and Bad Weather from the Setlist CD....na na na na na na na...woh a woh a woh!
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.

Ride The Country is now, and has always been, my favorite PC song. Love the Poco Live version, especially Rusty's steel.

Loved seeing POCO in the old days performing Ride the Country live and watching Tim and Paul face each other and rock out at the end of the song. Ralph

Ride the Country in any version is great, the pedal steel rocks even in the stripped down acoustic version played at the Turning Point.

Like 'em both but prefer the Poco 7 version.

The live version of 'Angel' on 'Poco Live' knocked me out the first time I heard it. It's very atmospheric and includes great guitar playing by Paul at the top of his game. Thom Landt also recorded an excellent cover version of 'Angel'.
