Thanks Rog...doing the same for you over here friend.
Tyler has begun to lose his hair and with the mass in his neck and the facial paralysis he is very conscious of his looks. He said to his dad the other day " I don't look like myself any more."
He'll be going back into the hospital next Wednesday for another 5 day stay. I can't wait to see the chemo start to shrink that mass in his neck. I'm sure it's doing its thing inside and in his lungs but seeing that huge lump go down will make him feel better about himself as well as give this papa some comfort.
Keep us in your thoughts friends.

Kev

Hi Kev,

I don't pray much. But I've been thinking about Tyler eversince I read this terrible news. Words can't describe what you all must be going through. I hope for the best, meaning a total recovery. I've worked in the past as a nurse with very sick children. I was always amazed by the strength and positivity with which they fight this terrible disease. Children are so special, in so many ways. I am also thinking about his twin sister and the rest of your family. Maybe I should try to give praying a chance. All the best from The Netherlands.

We'll pray daily for Tyler and family. So far, Laura and I are survivors and know the fear you are going through.

high and dry, Larry, Mary, Diederik, Ralph, Mike and Laura, and Kedro1.
Thank you all so much. As I have said here before, you all can't believe how much comfort and strength that your comments provide me.
Tyler spent the night with us this past Saturday and I got to take him to the park Sunday morning. It was wonderful to spend some one on one time with him. He's such a sweet little boy.
It's off to the hospital tomorrow (Wed.) for 5 days. His parents are exhausted to say the least. Mom is back to work and dad is trying to keep the business running. Thankfully my youngest son works with him and is doing a great job keeping things going. They have always been good together and now it's really showing.
Thanks again friends.....you are like family.

Kev

p.s. Welcome to the nuthouse Kedro1....it's a great place with even greater people!
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.
