Timothy B at the Hamilton in D.C.

Hi Poconuts,

Had the pleasure of seeing Timothy's 2 hour concert last night at a new D.C. venue; The Hamilton. The Hamilton is 'high class', easy to The Metro and the sound system there was incredible. I noticed Poco is playing there this summer!

Timothy & the band were dynamic, energetic & super professional. He mainly played acoustic guitar (very well, I might add) and bass on a few numbers. Band members included studio guitarist Hank Linderman, veteran drummer Herman Matthews, 3 super female vocalists & a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist (sorry, didn't catch his name) that was a Beach Boys veteran.

The Poco 'segment' of the show was a near accapella version of "Keep On Tryin" and a touching solo version of Richie's "What Am I Gonna Do".

BTW, he did not come out to greet his fans, although most of the rest of the band did.

Well worth it; highly recommended.

Chris Farmer

The Beach Boy vet is Chris Farmer. He was with them from 1995 to 2007. That's when Mike Love replaced him with his son, Christian, to reduce payroll.
