Tell me about Indian Summer.

After the intermission, Rusty began the second set on the pedal steel playing Kind Woman and Indian Summer. I'm no critic, just a fan, so all I can say is that IS sounded great (like everything else). BTW, Michael adds so much to the shows. He brings an incredible ability to play different instruments (keyboards and strings), sometimes in the same song, along with his energy and joy. Can't wait for the new CD release.

Rusty was so kind and accommodating after the show. My wife and I had our picture taken with him. I forgot to tell Rusty that my colonoscopy results was clean.

And yes, Margaret is terrific. She and Dale showed us the sites of Austin, including the landmarks like the Continental Club, Broken Spoke, Threadgill's, UT, etc. She drove us around the entire weekend. What a host! It is interesting to hear all the music connections she and Dale have had over the years. Hope to see them both again in Steeleville in Oct.

The show last night was truly outstanding! One World Theatre is such a beautiful venue! The show was a sell out and the audience loved the band! I am sure they will be invited back! And I will definitely go again!

It was so much fun being able to play tour guide for Glenn and Kris! I had the best weekend showing them around! We definitely hit all the hot spots! And we ate some amazing food! We'll have to do it again next year, since I am just certain that One World Theater will be booking Poco again!

I'm still on cloud nine from last night! I loved every minute of the show. It could not have been better!

It sounds like this was a fitting end to a whirlwind three days of touring over a bunch of miles. I bet the guys are beat! Thanks for posting. I saw photos of the venue... very nice!

We're still not home, had to pick up Zog from the kennel, stop and get a few groceries, etc, Rusty says he's not tired...and feels even better than he did when he woke up this morning in Texas. We loved being at the One World Theatre, what a great venue. We hope to be back too.

@Margaret and Mary at the same time...That is exactly how I felt after the St Louis show! @ Mary...I have never seen Rusty so happy and so fired up in all my Poco years. @Margaret, I would so have THAT much fun giving you the "tour de St Louie" in October, especially with my fellow tour guide Scotty, and my our friends from across the pond. Please plan an extra day...

If there is any way possible, I will try and arrange for an extra day in October. You know I've always wanted to go on your "Tour de St. Louis"! I am still on cloud nine after the Austin show. It was just magnificent. It was so good to have them in Texas at such a beautiful venue and to have such a great audience. The guys never stopped smiling. It was a wonderful experience.

Brings back nice memories of my time in Autin. Good to know the Broken Spoke is still around. Margaret, you should work for the Austin Tourism Dept.

I was disappointed I could not make that show, but had just arrived back from a business trip. That's two great shows I've missed in the same month (Beach Boys, now Poco.)

Hopefully Poco does make it back to Austin again. Great place for music.
